Claudelle White is the Founder and Director of Impulse Performing Arts Studio in the Madison/Harvest, Alabama area. She founded Impulse to create a safe, creative environment where children can develop artistic skills while learning leadership, teamwork, and confidence through the performing arts.
Under Claudelle’s leadership, Impulse has grown into a thriving performing arts organization serving more than 200 students with a team of eight instructors across a three-studio facility. The studio also serves as a rental space for local community organizations and businesses, reinforcing Impulse’s commitment to community engagement.
Claudelle brings over 22 years of experience as an instructor and choreographer in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Poms, Cheerleading, Hip Hop, Voice, Violin, and Piano. Her work spans elementary, high school, and collegiate levels, including choreography for Discovery Middle School (Madison, AL), Evanston Township High School (Evanston, IL), and dance organizations at the University of Illinois. She has received multiple awards for choreography and performance, including a Universal Dance All-Star Award and Best Choreography honors at regional competitions.
In addition to her studio leadership, Claudelle is a Certified Zumba Instructor, Group Fitness Instructor, and Barre Connect Instructor through the National Exercise Trainers Association. She teaches regularly at local fitness centers and is a founding board member of North Alabama Performing Arts, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing arts education in North Alabama.
Claudelle holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Strategic Management. She earned her degree while serving in corporate leadership roles with West Business Solutions LLC and Alorica, where she spent over ten years advancing through positions of increasing responsibility and supporting major global brands.
Claudelle is passionate about bringing dance and fine arts to life in the Madison/Harvest community and remains committed to developing students, leaders, and creatives for long-term success.
